Newspoll from The Australian is out with the detail of Abbott’s debut at Pollytics.

Kevin Rudd has dropped a few points as preferred Prime Minister so Tony Abbott offered him this advice:

“Worrying about your popularity in the end is bad for your popularity, and I think that’s what Mr Rudd is starting to find.”

Bring it on, Tony.

In other news, Kevin Rudd has co-written a book with Rhys Muldoon. Proceeds from the book, Jasper and Abby and the Great Australia Day Kerfuffle will benefit Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital. Barnaby Joyce thought the book should have a prequel so he has written You Heavy Duty Cat. What a funny old fellow is Barnyard.
