Cat downloads child porn?

8 August, 2009

Florida man, Keith Griffin has been charged with possession of child pornography when police found over 1000 images on his computer. Keith is blaming his cat.

According to a sheriff’s report on Friday, Griffin told investigators that his cat jumped on the computer keyboard while he was downloading music. He said he had left the room and found “strange things” on his computer when he returned.

Bad kitty.

There will be some serious posts here on sex crimes and in particular child sex abuse and how we as a society address this issue.

Were there paw prints indicating an unlucky hit?

To whom can the unlucky subjects of child porn report in confidence?

fairgo, do you mean the real victims, or the ‘unlucky victims’ of ‘paw-nography’ like Mr Griffin?

It would depend where you are but it is important for victims of sexual assault to report. Whether a close friend, carer or someone in authority.

There are countless barriers to reporting and the act of reporting can throw up further complications for the victim. The last thing an offender wants is to be reported.

As mentioned above we will look at this issue further. Fairgo, if you have a particular concern you can email us at ozpolitik(at)hotmail.com.

We believe the way society portrays child sex offenders can be a barrier to reporting.

Florida has a huge population of pedophiles. His cat excuse is a new one. I haven’t heard that before.

    Idiot.
